If you’re like me, you can eat an entire container of hummus in one sitting. While it is delicious, it is not the most budget friendly. Especially the gluten free certified kind! I have always wanted to make my own, but I don’t have a great blender. I wasn’t sure it would work in there.
But! I just got a food processor, so I tried out this recipe today. It is very easy, and after making it in the food processor, I think a blender would do just fine. You’re welcome to try it out in a blender as well! 🙂
Tastiness: 9/10 (It’s missing something, but I’m not sure what yet! I will keep you posted. :P)
Cost: 9/10 (Tahini is expensive, but it will last forever!)
Difficulty: Very Easy
You will need…
1 Can Garbanzo Beans
1/2 Cup Tahini
1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Cloves Garlic
2 Teaspoons Paprika
Juice of 1 Lemon
Salt and Pepper to Taste
All that you need to do for this recipe is throw the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth! I liked the natural taste of this recipe. I could tell that it wasn’t heavily processed! 🙂
Let me know if you try it out and add anything! I think it could use a little more spice, but I don’t know what to add.
I hope you enjoy! 🙂
