I’ve never really been on a long road trip. A few small ones, but nothing like this one! This drive was a total of 26 hours from the coast of California to Austin, Texas. I am writing this a few days into the trip, but I wanted to keep track of all the fun things that happened while I had no internet.

The first day, all I did was fly into California. It was pretty uneventful, except that my plane got moved to the basement, and I had to walk up a ramp to get inside. I got to see Steven finally too!

The second day, we made it to Arizona and the Grand Canyon. The desert was…hot. We did see a mirage, though. It looked like the ocean!

We drove by Route 66 and stopped for souvenirs too!
