Hello everyone! I have been craving something sweet for weeks (I cut out all sweeteners out about a month ago!), and this recipe worked perfectly.

I just decided to try mixing a bunch of ingredients, and surprisingly, it came out pretty good!

This recipe is easy, but a little bit more involved than some of the others.

Ratings:

Cost: 9/10
Taste: 9/10 (I think I should have used different apple type!)
Difficulty: Easy

You will need…

2 Apples (I used Pink Lady, but Granny Smith would work too!)
1 Cup Uncooked Quinoa
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Coconut Milk of Choice
1/4 Cup Applesauce
1 Tablespoon and 1 Teaspoon Coconut Oil
Cinnamon to taste

First, combine quinoa, water, milk, applesauce, and the teaspoon of coconut oil in a pot. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to low. Stir occasionally until the seeds have sprouted and the liquid is absorbed.

While the quinoa is cooking, peel and dice the apples (Or leave the peels on!). Heat the Tablespoon of coconut oil in a skillet on medium heat, and add the apples once the oil is melted. Cook for about 8 minutes or until the apples are soft.

Once both parts are done, combine in a bowl and add cinnamon!
