Hello again!

I have really been missing popcorn, so I decided to make some fake popcorn out of chickpeas. It’s very simple, but it satisfies my crunch craving. Chickpeas are full of protein too, which makes up for the lack of milk/cheese in regular popcorn. This is a much healthier alternative! 🙂

You will need…

1 Can Chickpeas
1 T Coconut Oil (Or Olive Oil)
Sea Salt

First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then drain the chickpeas and pat them dry in a towel.

Microwave the coconut oil until it is melted and pour over the chickpeas on a cookie sheet. Spread them out so that they all have room to bake.

Salt to taste and bake for about half an hour or until crunchy!

Let them cool and seal in an air tight container, or eat them straight from the pan! I have a hard time keeping my hands off of them. Ha!

Optional add ins:

Cinnamon and Sugar
Cheese
Cayenne Pepper
Garlic and Salt
